Hogwarts RPG Name: Samuel Chevalier Graduated x2
| Aidella | King of Confusion | Brittana | Forever ACROMANTULA Ohh, whatwhatwhat? Time to move on? That reminded him of a certain Tom Petty song, yes indeed.
Paulie eagerly dropped his sponge into the bucket, peeled off his gloves, and went to the seats Professor Hadley had indicated. He looked down at the board before him and listened to their assignment. And, boy oh boy, Paulie was in luck! The boy had never really been very inspired to do actual homework assignments, but this was different. Know why? Because Paulie actually wasn't half bad at drawing, and he certainly had a talent for catchy phrases and excellent nicknames. Louisa seemed pretty set on getting that shirt off, but Paulie was suddenly preoccupied with the ideas blooming in his head.
After a few moments of good old brainstorming, he went to work. He splashed some of the cheap watercolors onto the background 'cause they looked cool all runny like that, then while that dried, he picked out the colors for his text. Red, because that was bold and kinda gave you a warning. Green, because lime green totally signified stinkiness. If farts weren't invisible, they would probably be lime green. And beige. How could he forget the beige color of their slave labor uniforms? Some orange would go well with the other bright colors, too, so he grabbed the orange marker as well.
Maybe twenty minutes or so later, it was DONE! Paulie capped his final marker and grinned down at his handiwork. "Uh, Professors.." He lifted his lovely poster. "Despite the fact that talking was the only crime we committed in the library.." He gave a slight pause to once again point out that there was no romance brewed. "..I do think that this poster here will add a nice bit of artistic flair to the boring old library, don't ya think?" C'mon, totally! And if Hogwartsians couldn't appreciate the awesome craftsmanship, then they could at least appreciate the alliteration. Oh, and maybe the message. Heh. Not that Paulie was all that concerned about it, but obviously the instructors were.
He set his poster back down and craned his neck to get a better look at Louisa's, but seeing as she was blocking half the words, he just slumped back into his chair and waited. As he waited, a question that he'd thought about earlier popped in his mind. "Professor Hadley," he said. "I'm just curious, but when you guys took away our housepoints and gave us detention the other day, were you, like.. in a bad mood or something?" Because today she didn't seem quite so totally stressed out.
