Karate Kid? Louisa furrowed her eyebrows at that. "No. Never heard of it. What does Karate have to do with washing walls?" She had returned to her spot by now and was getting her sponge into the water again. "Sounds like a pathetic movie if you ask me." She didn't mean to criticize his reference rather than give her opinion on the matter. It was one of her strong characteristics, saying everything she thinks of without hesitation.
Scrubbing the wall was much more easier now, there was barely any slime and they were down to a dirty wall with.. few ants here and there.

After a pause, Louisa cleared her throat, "Thanks for killing the spiders, by the way." Because she was actually nice when he didn't call her little John. Or Helen. Or Sally. However, she didn't raise her voice nor looked up at him for this would be driving the apology too far. Yep. No need to let the sincerity sound too blatant or he'd invent another nickname.

She jumped to her feet and tugged at his sleeve to force him see it. It was magical! Oh! That was... weird but cool. Why it faded away though, she didn't really know.
