It was an innocent question really. It wasn't her birthday. Nor was it Christmas. Or Valentine's Day. It was...just some random day in October. Was she...missing something?!

Shyly, she removed the lid and looked down at the necklace inside and was completely rendered speechless. It was almost too much for someone as plain as her. Was he really sure that he wanted to give her something so...beautiful?

Jonathan saw her reaction. It was priceless. He laughed seeing her like that not that he was enjoying it. It's just that it was too adorable to look at. He covered his mouth and just acted as casual so that he wouldn't burst out into laughing. Truth be told, he hasn't been this happy in a long while. Of course he knew that Walnut is a distraction. Jonathan doesn't have anything to say so he just said the first thing that came out from his mind.

He looked at her, he was still grinning "By any chance..." he tried calming down "...were you disappointed?" he bit his lower lip. He shouldn't be laughing right? It's rude. Very rude. Besides, Kurumi expected a lot from that last move.

Yes, there were no celebrations whatsoever at all. The gift was just a gift. Nothing more. He just felt like giving her something "Because... I want to." he told her. He really didn't have any explanation to why he bought the gift in the first place. When he saw the necklace, he just felt like buying it for her.
