As he walked down to the kitchen he worked on being cheerful. The prospect of a fresh cake made him feel a lot better, surprisingly, and he was smiling when he opened the door to the kitchen. After a quick look around the room he spotted Ellie sitting on the counter. "Hey!" He greeted as he closed the door, his smile becoming more genuine as he saw his friend.

AND...he was also kind of late, wasn't he? His girlfriend and Dallin were already there, so, he assumed he was late. Funny, because he was the one whose Common Room was closest to the Kitchen.
"Hey Dallin," Happy Birthday? See? He wasn't sure if he should say that or not. "Hi girlfriend." Treyen kissed the top of her head, much like he'd done with Victoria in the past, and then his eyes were back on Dallin, "How are you?" Everything okay? "Is Ellie coming?" She was the one person he knew that was supposed to be here...that actually wasn't.
Ellie...was still chewing when Dallin walked in. So he got a wave, rather than an audible 'hello'. But now that he was here, it was probably a good idea to chew a bit faster. It would be easier to hold a conversation without food in her mouth.
"Happy Early Birthday," she said after swallowing.
'Where was Ellie' was going to follow when the kitchen opened and Treyen walked in.
"Hi." Hehee.
Treyen asked her question for her, though, which was good because she'd forgotten about it.
"Yeah...? Where is she?" Last SHE knew, Ellie J. was coming.
