"Hmm.." he frowned, not sure why anyone's friends would do that. Even if they were surprised, they could at least pretend not to be! Couldn't people just be happy for their friends anymore, or did they always have to go and make it be about themselves? Trying to come up with alternative to cheer up his friend, Christopher suggested, "Perhaps they didn't expect someone so fun to be a prefect. You're certainly not the prat the prefects are usually made out to be."
However, no matter what he was saying, Adam still looked a little bit lost. Like he couldn't understand why this would happen to him. And that's when the fifth year realized something a bit important. Like the identity of the female prefect Adam would be spending a good amount of time with. "This... this isn't about her... is it?" Hopefully it wasn't too sensitive of a topic, but if Adam wanted to get something off of his chest, Christopher was there to listen. Especially since he'd been the one entrusted to rid of the love potion originally meant for her when they'd met at Diagon Alley. Hopefully he could be trusted again.

Prats? As far as Adam could remember all the prefects he knew, or head boys or head girls, never turned out to be prats. Salandar was great. Treyen is great. Kurumi is perfect. No one was prats in the prefect group. "

No. Not really. It's more about what I've gotten in terms of personal problems that makes me think I am not worthy of this. I haven't done anything bad concerning the school, minus having one detention. But I think my personality over the past few years doesn't exactly showcase what a prefect is considered to be." People were doubting his ability so much, now he was doing it himself. Though, maybe having to spend so much time with the two people he loved before, an now having to spend so much time with them now, well, the time would be spent in a different way, he expected. "
