| Post #5 This is maybe a bit of a BENTLEY!-post. xD The Kisapaths | Sila!Roti | -2 | TouchableHair | ToiletPaperGuy | QueenOfConfusion Next step was to water the seeds. Giving the heap of soil one last pat, Lewis reached for the watering can next to the pot and his wand. He held his wand a little awkwardly for a moment before deciding that it was safe to take off the gloves for now. He wasn't going to be touching the plants anymore, after all. And he was going to put them on again RIGHT AWAY after he had cast the spell. Or spells actually.
After he had gotten the gloves off, Lewis reached for his wand again and pointed it at the watering can. "Aguamenti." He said clearly, and watched as a couple of water droplets dripped off the tip of his wand. Err. "Aguamenti!" He repeated a little more forcefully and was quite happy to see some water emerge his wand this time and go into the watering can. This hadn't been too hard. Maybe somebody else could do the rest of the last step for him and he would just go around filling everybody's watering cans? Probably not an option...
Once his watering can was filled up, Lewis stopped the spell but didn't lower his wand. "Chaudensis!" He said, twisting his wrist a little in circular motion. Putting his wand away, he then proceeded by glancing into the watering can and since he couldn't really think of another way to check its temperature dipped the tip of his index finger in. Right, that was pretty warm already. Great.
Biting his lip a little nervously Lewis reached for the watering can and...jus began to pour water into the pot. Okay, how much was enough? How much was too much? He was just going to go by- HANG ON! Was the soil supposed to swim like that. Was that the seed he saw right there in the little brownish puddle inside his pot? Was that supposed to be like that? Was the seed supposed to come back out of the heap of soil? SPOILER!!: To Do List Quote: 1. Charm pot to heat itself.
2. Fill half of pot up with soil and let it rest for several minutes to warm up.
3. Carefully take a single fire seed with dragon hide gloves and place on top of the soil.
4. Cover fire seed with soil, so that pot is filled. Pat the soil down a little (not too much, you don't want to suffocate it).
5. Water the fire seed with boiling water, without drowning it.
For boiling water, add water (via aguamenti) to the watering can and heat it. This will ensure you 1. control the temperature and 2. don't over water your seed. Use a VERY small amount, simply enough to moisten the soil.
