Good, he understood what she meant and so she didn't feel the need to explain any further. It would have probably gotten really bad if she had to, because she didn't like talking about it, it was in the past and she hoped to keep it there. She looked at the ducks again and sort of smiled. She kind of wished her life was as easy as these ducks, all they had to do was swim around all day they had no worries at all, their life was just so easy. "I wish I could be a duck." she sort of mumbled to herself.

He got that right, because honestly no one did expect it but it was nice to surprise people. "I know I wouldn't, but I doubt I'd ever get that honor." She knew she had no chance at all, it was obvious that Lyssie would get the honor of being prefect, but Ness didn't mind she was just happy to even be at Hogwarts and as long as she had friends she knew she'd be fine. Prefect dust? Now Nessie was giggling that was funny, and she may have not known all the prefects but personally the ones she did know she thought were the best. "Is that what you'd call it Prefect dust?" she giggled at him.

"Girls are NOT complicated, were only confusing because you boys are the complicated one." she gave him a nod. Thats how it was not the other way around. "It is pathetic, because lets face who in their right mind would like someone like me?" she frowned a little as she realized how moody she had gotten in aonly a few seconds.
