Maybelle looked away from the clouds and smiled as Everett sat down beside her. "Hey, Ev." She greeted, smiling. "Having a good term so far?" She asked, looking back at the clouds. Then, she took a small rock and tossed it into the pond. It skipped a couple of times and she smiled, took another rock and tried again. This one went SPLASH, and sunk to the bottom. She instinctively touched her "Kiss Me" necklace, like she always did, even during the feast. Hopefully Everett didn't noticed.
