And so it was decided that Bartholomew Henry would remain in the lake to protect the students in case of attacks on the castle by Voldemort." He gave a slight nod. It sounded like Bartholomew was a hero. But not quite. "Bartholomew proved to be quite lazy," Which was exactly why he wasn't explaining this himself. "When the Ministry tried to train him for attacks. And so they created the rumor about him being Godric Gryffindor in animagus form in order to intimidate Voldemort." It worked somewhat. Really, the squid could have said ALL of that. Scabior gave a brief nod before turning back to look at his now wet trousers.

Bartholomew could stop being lazy now and answer all the students questions.

How is it that in six years at this school I am just now hearing this story? Even with all the times the squid had shown himself, it had never come up. But something just didn't make sense in Keefer's mind. What was it...?

He raised both hands, speaking tentatively. He didn't want a tentacle takedown. "Sir," he said, addressing Williamson, who, after all, had told the story. "How exactly was Mr. Henry meant to have protected Hogwarts? I mean, Voldemort was extremely strong. He likely would've just killed Mr. Henry from far off before he was in danger." Well he would, right?

And something else... "I'm not meaning to be rude, but why would Godric Gryffindor's Animagus form be a squid? Wouldn't you think it would be a lion?" He just couldn't see Voldemort falling for that.
