Dang. Professor Bentley had caught that she'd missed Hadley's title. But she really was delighted that Bentley seemed to enjoy Presley's visits. At least a little. And if she didn't enjoy it, at least it didn't seem as if she dreaded them, or didn't want to answer the door when Presley came around.
"Thanks," She smiled happily. Grateful for the luck.
"It's good to see you too." She patted Caltex's head one more time, skirted around the fanged geraniums, and left the office with her heavy schoolbag in tow.
