And now she wished she had paid attention to the notice that was pinned at the notice board at the common room. That way, maybe she would have an idea what the movie was about - aside from talking lions apparently.
She glanced at him as he reached out to take a fistful of popcorn and smiled at the expression on his face. Maybe she should watch the movie too? But instead, for some unknown reason,even if she knew that there was a charm in the room the protected your conversations or something like that, she whispered "What is this movie about, anyway?"
Christopher was so excited to watch this movie, it was unbelievable. So rather than listen to his friend and be nice, he ignored her reluctance and forced her to join him anyway. She was going to have fun and she was going to like it! Looking over at her, he stuck out his tongue, the childish reaction Cass got from him quite often.
"Yes, because this movie is awesome, and educational, so hush your mouth and watch!" But he had a feeling she wasn't going to hush if the only person she had to worry about hearing her was him.
Sigh.
His eyes still glued to the screen, he whispered back, forgetting about the charm,
"Okay, if you watch you'll understand, but it's pretty much like Shakespeare's Hamlet, but with talking cartoon lions that sometimes sing." She'd understand that, right? She liked to read, and if she didn't read Shakespeare, he'd probably talked about it enough that she knew it backward and forwards already. Plus it was a really cute film, a children's classic. If she gave it a shot, she'd love it, he was sure.
