So why was everyone making sucha big fuss about it?, she asked herself, spotting the duck pond from a considerable distance. She remembered how Kurumi and Daichi were so excited when they found out about it. Meh…those are just ducks. However, as she got closer, she felt her eyes were going wiiide.
‘All right, so it is nice, after all’, she mumbled and looked at the clear water. After making sure NO ducks were near the place where she was standing, the third year ‘took a seat’ on the rocky ledge and gazed around.
Jory was pleased to hear there was a duck pond on Hogwart's ground. When he was home, he and Grace would go to the park to feed the ducks and pigeons there.
As he walked toward the pond, he crumbled the bread into pieces he had taken from the Hufflepuff table at breakfast. There were alot of students at the pond already.
The ducks in the pond were swimming lazily around as other students also tossed bread for them. One swam closer to Jory and quacked. Jory laughed.
"Here you go, big fellow,'' he said and threw a piece of bread into the water and the duck instantly bent his head underwater to retrieve it. Jory continued to throw more bread as he looked around at the students. Suddenly, he spotted someone familiar who was sitting opposite to where he was standing.
"Gwen!" he called and waving his hand to get her attention.
