Kurumi followed the rest of the crowd as the continued to make their way further into the greenhouse, eyes flicking every once in awhile towards the ivy. Even if their purpose was to help keep the light out and they were playful - Professor Bentley's words not hers - Kurumi still found them suspicious.

As they walked, a part reached out and tugged on her ponytail lightly. It was probably only trying to say hello, but it made Kurumi jump. Well, as long as it wasn't trying to pull her hair out...OOF! Kurumi turned around to see that Lewis had accidentally run into her. "I-I-It's alright," she whispered, turning her attention back towards Professor Bentley.

What plant? Kurumi's eyes hadn't adjusted enough to be able to see anything but the flames at the base of the tree. Flaming tree? Well, Kurumi wasn't sure if it was the tree that had flames or...whatever was at its base. After all, the tree didn't have any leaves and what knowledge Kurumi had about magical plants that had flames...well...they were flaming from their branches and not from their base. Which, well, only indicated to Kurumi that she had no idea what she was looking at.

Kurumi really didn't want to offer up the same response as everyone else, Kurumi thought a bit more about...trees..."Is it....an Alder tree?" They were highly combustible...or something like that. She had come across them being associated with fire often in her reading anyway.
