"Half eagle and half horse?" Melanie questioned, not quite ready to jump back into their game. "Which half is which? Do they have wings? Beaks? Tails?" She leaned forward eagerly, her necklace banging against her sternum with the speed of the movement. Her denim-clad legs hit the floor as she twisted toward Conrad, wanting to soak up any information she could get about this new, magical world.
