She gave a few of the leaves another gentle stroke as they reached out to her.

"Now before we move deeper into the greenhouse, does anybody have any idea as to why there is little light in here?"

OOC: The lesson has OFFICIALLY started, do not post your character arriving late unless you want to lose house points-- just pretend you were here the whole time, also no more chatting please, and DO NOT edit your posts/answers. Feel free to be as creative as you like with your response and I shall continue this lesson in approximately 12 hours.

Jayden raised her hand slowly. "Professor, perhaps it is because these certain plants do not react well to the sunlight and have a better potency or a higher strength when they are in the dark." She answered, smiling up at the professor. Herbology really was becoming one of her favorite classes.

Merlin she needed a tea.

SPOILER!!: Professor again xD
"Today I want us to have a look at a couple of different plants... not the ivy." She gave them all a look. The ivy played its role in here... keeping things dark, but now it was time to check out the main attraction for the day.

"Now if you'll all follow me please, keep close, and try not to walk into each other... and don't touch anything unless I say so." It was dark after all, and they were going deeper into the greenhouse.

The darkness began to intensify as they made their way deeper, but then soon began to glow a warm redish-orange.
After walking some way down a path, with pots and flowerbeds of plants skirting the area with the occasional rustling of leaves, Seren came to a halt. The strange glow seemed to be coming from a small, old, leafless looking tree. At the base of the tree a few low flames can be seen flickering to indicate a burning.

"Can anybody identify this particular plant?" she asked. "Simply name it, I don't need to know its entire history."

OOC: Lesson will resume in approximately 12 hours.

Jayden raised her hand again, a bit faster this time. "Professor, is that Dittany? Dittany also goes under the name of "Burning Bush", and is also used in healing and restorative potions, such as the "Wiggenweld Potion." She added, a small grin forming on her face. She could only hope she was right.
