She took her eyes off him for not even a minute and when she looked back he had disappeared again. He always did this to her, she hated it and she honestly didn't feel like playing hiding seek with her pygmy puff. "Puffles? Where did you go now?" It was worth a try, but he didn't respond. She bit her lip and started searching for him, she didn't have much of a choice.

It was times like these that Tom really missed his dog. He would have loved exploring these beautiful grounds with her at his side. She would have loved it too. She really was the lad's best friend: loyal, loving and never judgemental. The pair were inseparable when Tom was at home. ..But even though students were allowed a pet, his ma had said Diego was now too big to keep with him in his dorm. And Tom supposed he agreed, but it still pulled at his heart when he thought about her.

He rounded a corner and spotted someone up ahead. He slowed his pace as she spoke. It was Nessie. What was she doing?

“Ness?” He said as he got closer, looking at the girl curiously. “Wotcha doin'? You lost somefin'?”
