Stella had to struggle to hide the grin that had resulted from Professor Bentley's response to her greeting, but she managed to get it down to a simple smile quickly. Which she turned to the professor upon the subsequent question that had been posed. At least she knew that, even if other things had changed when it came to the Herbology professor, she wasn't about to have issue with the occasional French being spoken. Maybe she'd still be able to keep bilingual, beyond occasionally testing Matt's knowledge of the language.

"I did. My summer was very nice," she replied, even as it seemed the professor was anxious about the time. Certain things about her summer were better than others, namely what had happened during her birthday surprise once she was back in London, but she really couldn't complain. She wasn't about to say much more, though. Especially if class was going to begin soon.
