A bow tie was not the first piece of clothing Gabriel would have chosen for this event. He was quite happy wearing one of his three-piece suits. But Fliss wanted him to make more of an effort. So here he was, resplendent in white tuxedo and black bow tie, with the lovely blue dressed blonde on his arm. They'd survived the apparating intact, but Gabe still felt the need to keep adjusting his collar.
"You know I'm not used to wearing one of these," he whispered, leaning towards his good side to get closer to Fliss' ear. The arm was still a bit sore, so he's asked his girlfriend to stand on the opposite side of it. He needed to give it enough space to get better. "The Ministry looks nice though, don't you think?" Well the entrance hall did. They'd see the rest when they fully got in. Although, a Ministry without the Cult was always going to look nice. |
