Quentin stopped a few steps up, she should probably at least try and meet a few people before lessons started and her time was limited. She sighed and turned to walk back down. She really was an idiot sometimes. As she stepped back into the common room she noticed something odd.
There was an older girl standing there, mid-wave, looking like she was about to say something,
"Sorry, were you about to say something?" she asked politely. Normally people tended to avoid Quentin, she wasn't sure if this girl was waving at her or not.
