When Professor Bentley opened the door Selina suddenly felt the urge to stutter. She had prepared in her head some big long thank you to give to Bentley to express how much the badge meant to her. Now that she was faced with her Head of House and Herbology Professor she could not even find the words to speak. So she did the only thing she could think of doing- she stiffly nodded and walked into Bentley's office.

It was no shock to Selina that her Herbology Professor and Head of House had a very stylish and modern office. It was very Bentley in so many ways. She sat down at one of the seats and picked at the sleeve of her robe. After sitting in unrest for about seven seconds she stood up from her seat and looked straight at Bentley, "Excuse me ma'am? I know that I may sound extremely stupid and I apologize for making this awkward but..." Where was the calm, cool and collected Selina now? She was hiding underneath this shell of nerves who desperately wanted to let her Head of House know that she appreciated the faith entrusted to her.

"Ma'am... you have no idea how humbled I am that you chose me to be the Gryffindor Quidditch Captain this term. I know that you had a lot of people to choose from but the fact that you picked me... I just... there are no words. I kept thinking of what I would say to you when I saw you and I had something all worked out... but now I can't think straight. So yeah, underneath all of this muddled mess I just wanted to say thanks a heap for picking me. I promise I will try not to let you down."
