"I'm sorry, Thalia...I gave you the wrong information. I didn't go overseas. I went back to Romania and it was as beautiful as it always has been. I'm probably being a little biased, though," he winked, grinning. "It is my home country, after all."

Thalia let herself be lead around and shrugged as he mentioned her step father. "Thankfully my siblings still manage to see our father occasionally, though I think my mother has basically disowned us because of him... her husband doesn't exactly like that we're only half-bloods" he was a real annoyance. Somehow even her mother started thinking like him. She was much to naive, and much to easily influenced!
