The boy is sixteen years old, he could do better than just laying on the bed and eat like a king. Study needs strategy. Jonathan is already skilled in Potions but he needs to branch out more than just Potions, that's why he's in school.

"Oh that's nice" he said after listening to her 'rambling' about her son, which sounds really nice. "We need those motivations if we want them to study, right?" he joked.

Now what does he think about working under oppressive stone fist of the Cult? "I just started to work here so I wasn't really familiar about... them" that is true. He knew about the Cult and all that but he just transferred from London last year, so everything that just had happened was still a bit of a blur to him. "But I must say, the former minister did have a way with things around when he was in power." which everyone really hated. All those ridiculous rules.
Abigail could not help but smile at his comment about the house elf. "Well, if a house elf is doing his chores, then those really are not any chores at all now are they," she said in a very sing-song-like voice. Her family kept a few house elves, but they sort of frightened Abigail with their self-mutilating ways. Honestly, she was afraid to keep frying pans out in the open for fear that one would pick it up and begin beating itself for not folding the laundry properly.

"I suppose we all do, Mr. Kim, I suppose we do," she nodded with another airy wave. Where WAS that waiter at with the champagne?

"Oh dear, you poor man," Abigal frowned, her hand once again clutching her pearl necklace. "Well, I do hope that things under the new Minister prove to be less...severe." Although, from what she had read of the reports, the Walrus of a man that had held the title was nothing more than a puppet - a very very fat puppet.
