A new recruits? Frowning slightly in confusion, Lewis just looked at the boy for a moment. Oh, so he could be nice too? When he wasn't snapping at him for ACCIDENTALLY bumping into a girl. "I...yes. I transfered here this term." He even managed a small smile for Messer. Go him for going all social! Well a little anyway. "Nice to meet you. I'm Lewis." The guy didn't seem too intimidating after all. Plus, he was like 4 years younger than him.

Looking back up from his plate when Messer answered, Lewis just eyed him for a second with his brows slightly furrowed but then accepted his answer. He didn't LOOK fine but whatever. With a nod and a small shrug he returned his attention to the food on his plate. Which was pretty good. REALLY good actually.

Lewis was so engrossed in his food that he jumped slightly when all of a sudden the girl next to him started talking again. Coughing to get rid of the piece of potato which felt like it had got stuck in his throat at the sudden movement he quickly reached out to take a sip of water. Still unable to actually speak, he simply gave her a thumbs-up in reply to her question.

Not exactly a very good first encounter with the Hogwarts-made food.
