Sophie looked back at Jessie. "Well, yeah, for an all-girl team. But that doesn't make them better than the Arrows, obviouslyyy!" she said happily. It really didn't! The Appleby Arrows were the greatest team of all time! Of all. Time! EVER! "Haha, Chudley Cannons!" Sophie laughed to herself. "Poor girl!" Sophie knew that the Chudley Cannons haven't won anything special in a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally long time. "Uh... I hope you're happy with your um... team." she added sticking out her tongue sideways. "I'm not going to try-outs anyways. I'm not much of a player. Just a fan, really!"

Sophie then noticed the headmaster was standing. She looked straight at him and stopped talking. She listened to his words very carefully.
"Anniversary, what? Whose anniversary?" Sophie never read the newspaper. She thought it was boring.
Professor Tate welcomed all the new staff and students, and Sophie felt as he was talking directly to her. "Aw, how nice! Thank you, sir!" she thought to herself. "Eat! Yay!" Sophie smiled excited. "Don't die?? Huh?? Okaay... maybe professor Tate was kind of crazy. "He might probably be a Hufflepuff!" she laughed. She should get used to those things, apparently.
Sophie then listened as the house elf spoke. She didn't know what to think of house elves, actually, she had never spoken to one before. She thought that one sure sounded... unusual.



Sophie didn't get it either. "I guess he's just being funny." at least she hoped so!
