Gabi shrugged. "That's just...Ian. He's always been like that, long as I've known him. Once he gets to know you though he's a real peach, I promise," she assured him, although she doubted after their two minute exchange here that the two men would ever be friends. Ian was just not everyone's cup of tea, which was understandable. Still, she couldn't help but admire his willingness to always speak his mind, even if it did get him into trouble sometimes.

"Oh? What did you do that was so special that it got you this esteemed position?" she asked. She wanted to know whatever she could about how the new Minister ran things around here. Anything that gave her something to talk about with him when she finally got around to conversing with him.

Apparently he was the type of man who punished people with servants stuff when they did...something. HMMMMMMMM.
