Piper hadn't been to work for a week due to family reasons. She felt bad for not being in work. It was odd. If she was at her old job she could say that she would see her friends again but this new job she wanted to make a good impression and she forgot about even making any friends at all.

Piper walked into the hall. She felt awkward. She didn't bring a date or anything. This Ball seemed all last minute to her. She felt like a fool for not even bringing a date or knowing anybody here.

Piper noticed someone. She might as well make some friends here and be her bright self. "Hello." the blonde Scottish girl said with a flashy smile.
