"I'd love to babysit Clarke at some point, animals love me; as a matter of fact I've got a dog and a kitten back home and my owl Gidget is somewhere. But she's very.. energetic." Definitely the best way to put it, but at least she seemed to get along with people like his girlfriend who speaking of which hadn't entered the Great Hall yet; he knew that he was going to see her later on anyway.
Oh! When she clarified that it was the pygmy puff who want to see about the owl treats, he nodded for a second before finally speaking. "Oh Kent should be able to eat the treats without a problem, I've seen a few pygmy puffs eat owl treats before and as odd as it might sound; they usually take to them. It's much better than eating snot." That was just gross dude. Seriously.
Selena grinned as he said he needed to get his hands on them. Because what did she have
always? Chocolate. It was the key thing to survival in her book. No one could live without it.
"Chocolate frogs, hyperness, sugar, have you ever eaten sugar? Just sugar by itself? It's amazing," Selena said as she rummaged in her bag with her free hand and pulled out a pentagon-shaped box.
"Chocolate frog! Here!" she said, holding it out to him as an indication that he could have it. Because Selena definitely had more of those... somewhere in her bag... and trunk... they were there yup.
And yay! Selena would just leave out that little bit about... Clarke eating shoes.
"That's brilliant," Selena said beaming. A dog was very much like a cruppy, right? And a kitten? Selena wasn't very fond of felines... they looked too interested in pygmy puffs and owls for Sel's liking.
"Energetic is good! You should feed her treats for being so energetic... or maybe the treats make her even more energetic?" she mused. Hmm... the mysteries the world had to offer.
"Really? Because Kent never eats them," Selena said frowning. She had tried. It didn't work. But she would
make it work then because he said they did indeed eat owl treats. She looked at the little fluff ball... Kent was going to eat the treats somehow...

Selena grinned as the boy noticed her waving and stuff. Well... it was kinda
hard. But still.
"Hi!" she exclaimed, beaming. Because he seemed nice, Selena liked nice people. She glanced at his hand then at Clarke. This time, the cruppy was too preoccupied with the pygmy puff to notice the hand. She shook the boy name Kennedy's hand.
"I'm Selena, most people call me Sel though, are you the male prefect?" she asked, squinting at the shiny badge he had on. She was pretty sure of it.
"Or did someone let you borrow it?" because that was possible too, right?
