He made his way over to the table and slid in on the bench next to Treyen and Alyssa.
"Hey Treyen, Alyssa. It's good to be back, isn't it? This year should be great!"
Treyen smiled at the sound of Keefer again. The boy already knew how he felt about Quidditch this year, but about the year in general? NEWTs? Last year? Yeah, Keefer had no idea.
"It should be, we have you as Quidditch Captain." Another hint for Alyssa to attend tryouts. She'd been a great player last year. It'll leave Treyen off the hook of Seeking if plenty of people tried out.
It'd also be nice to mention to the new Captain not to mention Quidditch in front of his girlfriend too, but he wasn't going to talk about it right now. Not the place, and certainly not the right time. Maybe later.

"Good to know." Headmaster Tate used to take a long time before making the speech. And whilst he'd decided not to mention the 'don't die' part in them, it was kind of nice not to hear it anymore.
But then the kid fell silent. Not much of a talker, right?
"Happy with the Sorting Hat's decision?" he asked, curiously. Perhaps Nate wasn't?

"HUFFLEPUFF?!"
HUFFLEPUFF!
"No I can't be in Hufflepuff! NO!" The first year freaked out. This house wasn't meant for her! No! This was for her. No!
What the heck is a HUFFLEPUFF?!
Adeline looked around at the other Hufflepuff's at the table around her she must've looked like a loon.
"Hufflepuff is not for me I don't even have any friends. How can I be loyal and just?"
O_o
ARYA!
He needed Arya for this. Where was she?
His question to Nate couldn't have had a much better timing, really. The Head Boy blinked repeatedly. How do you deal with an eleven year old that acts...like that? It should be fairly easy, no? He wouldn't know, because Arya was the one left to deal with this ever since he almost made a girl cry a few terms back.
"Er, you okay there?" he asked, tentatively approaching the girl.
