Jez looked away from the window to Nate. "Sorry about that," she said sheepishly. She hesitated, her emotions battling it out inside her again. She sighed. "It was ..." Jez trailed off, shaking her head. "It was nothing. Just a nightmare." He didn't need to know about the dream, how it had escalated from her family's deaths to his as well. She always woke up when Jared came toward her with his wand outstretched, ready to kill her too. Des always said dreams meant something, but Jez had laughed it off. Dreams were just your imagination running wild, right? Her mind moved to Pam's dreams, which had been frighteningly real in the Room of Requirement, but she pushed the disobedient thought away. Dreams were nothing but a way of tormenting her.
