Still out of breath from the run through the barrier and then onto the actual train, August found the nearest compartment and scrambled in. He was already in a seat when he noticed it wasn't empty. "Oh sorry, I can go if you want to be alone." he said sitting up to go back to the door. Quote:

The chose was now whether he wanted to risk putting other people into danger or having himself clawed up later. Hmmm.
He quickly looked up when he heard someone enter the compartment. What happened to knocking? "Not to be rude but knocking is a generous gesture," the boy said as he scratched his chin. "Well, I don't prefer to be alone so you can stay if you want to. I'm not going to kick you out or anything." He wasn't that mean. It was pretty easy for Amelia to locate her boyfriend on the train; all she had to do was follow the sound of the hissing cat. "Could you not have left the thing at home? Or given it away?" she asked as she raised her brow. She was standing at the door of the compartment because she knew that he was going to let the thing out of its carrier. "It always scratches me. Maybe we can trade it off to an unsuspecting First Year."
She eyed the cat now as it stared back at her. "Yeah, I just said that to you, baldy." Ha! She hated that animal. It was pure evil.
Noticing the boy in the compartment with Zayden, she waved hello to him, having no idea who this person was. |
