Isabelle looked up from her magazine as a girl around her age slid open the compartment door. "Sure," Isabelle smiled shoving the magazine into her bag. "I'm Isabelle Dupont, 7th year in Slytherin." Then she pulled out her big jug of more coffee and smiled at the girl. "Want some coffee?" she asked pouring more coffee into her mug and setting another mug on the table.
Isobel's smile grew a little as she walked into the compartment and sat down across from the girl. Star, her kitten, followed her in and leaped onto the seat next to her. She sat alert and mewed at the person she had never met before.
"Nice to meet you Isabelle," Isobel said. Woah; their names were really similar. But they were not the same; Isobel hated it when people thought her name was Isabelle/Isabel.
"My name is Isobel VonHue; I'm a sixth year Hufflepuff. And this is Star." She patted her gray kitten on the head.
Wait, what? Isabelle had coffee? She brought it with her onto the train. That was really weird, but whatever.
"No thanks," Isobel said. She did not like coffee, even though it might be good for her that early in the morning. She was a little groggy, but excited to be going to Hogwarts. Isobel unconsciously reached up and tugged on her necklace. Her older sister had given it to her, and it was one of the awesomest things she had ever known.
"Are you looking forward to your seventh year, Isabelle?" Did Isabelle have a problems with nicknames, if she did not Isobel would so call her Izzy.
