He lifted up a stack of papers and nodded toward them. "As a matter of fact, I've already received a handful of applications from people who've overheard there's an open position." He pulled a file off the top and added, "This Ms. Grey looks like a good one."

Alexander put the files away and watched the variety of reactions from Recard. Finally, the man made his decision, and Alexander couldn't be happier to hear the sound of defeat in the man's voice. That would show him for being Borr's right hand man and attempting to hand the Ministry over to the Cult. "Very well then," he said, and then with a tap of his wand, Armen's nametag changed to show:

"You might want to go remove your belongings from level six now," he said. He imagined the new hire, which would likely be Ms. Grey from the looks of her application, would would want to move in immediately. With a sarcastic smile and an equally sarcastic tone in his voice, he added, "Have a nice day, Recard." Then he moved his chair closer to his desk, dipped his quill in ink, and began writing a message to the Grey woman.
