Yet he couldn't bring himself to not answer her truthfully...

Violet then suddenly felt a little awkward after his reply. She was wondering why he didn't want to her leave. Then it struck her, that they were in the middle of a very serious conversation before Selina had come and interrupt, well inform them, of her big surprise. But then he told her not to be sorry and he also had mentioned that he was a little bit out of it today. That last statement was a little suspicious to her, and her normal instict would have been to question it, but she figured she could bring attention to it later.

After she had asked why he called himself stupid she crossed her arms and listened for a legitimate reason as to why he said it. But of course..he tried to lie about it and Violet listened to him until he had eventually come out with the truth. Violet then said lightly,"Was that all? Look Christopher...it's alright if you're not how you said 'cool' or 'smooth' at talking to people...What matters is that you try.." Violet smiled reassuringly towards him trying to make him feel a little better hoping it was helping...as least a little bit.
