August had just gotten over the awkwardness of being on a date with one of his best friends turned girlfriend and had been looking at the two evil masterminds behind it all that were sitting across from him when Tori began to blubber like a freshly un-potted mandrake.

The boy had never been good dealing with emotions like crying and sadness and this all coming from Victoria Bunbury was even more unsettling. Figuring it was just some family drama put him a tad bit at rest but then the look on Paulie's face confirmed it was something of importance to others also.
