Anya nodded. "I'm glad you made it. I was worried you wouldn't be here in time." And just for that she was going to hug the older girl again. "That's fine. I understand." she said with a nod. Evan was busy, just like Carter was.

"Tell him thanks. And give him a hug and a kiss from me." she said with a little giggle.

She smiled at Mina. "Thank you. Really. I don't think I'd be standing here without you." No. She'd probably still not be speaking to her older brother.

Anya laughed. "Well... I imagine we're supposed to change before we get there." she said with a shrug. "And I think we have to be in uniform every time we're in class..." She tapped her chin lost in thought.

"Yeah. So I think that's really going to be the only time you'll see me in that." It wasn't like she was against dresses or heels or even dressing up. It was just the thought of being in a plain skirt for several hours every day... She shuddered. She was NOT looking forward to that.

She nodded a little absentmindedly. "Yeah... broom shop..." she said.

Her eyes brightened at his next question. "OH! I can tell you now!" she said bouncing up and down on her toes. "He plays quidditch. On brooms! Like the ones in the shop!" And now that she and and Alec were both going to Hogwarts... she could tell him everything about everything.

Well... the parts she knew anyway. She was still fairly new to it all too.

Was anything wrong? Dang it. He noticed. She played with the ends of her hair. "Um... What? Of course not."

As long as he specified to everyone that the best friend job was most certainly taken my Anya Phillips.
