~ Rise and Rise Again, Until Lambs become Lions ~ Although watching her hurt, he found he couldn't do much else. He didn't want to listen to her either, but then again, he didn't have another choice. His ears, eyes and heart were always open to her. "It's not the same home anymore." Not with whats-his-face living there with Alexandra. No, it was completely different. Altered. Like the old one had been torn down and this new...thing, had been put up in its place. At least he didn't have to go inside. Of that, he was semi-grateful.
For the sunglasses, not so much and without even thinking, he reached out and plucked them off Alexandra's face, tucking them into the collar of his t-shirt. "She was as owls are." Which, if Alexandra knew him, and she did, wasn't much more than unpredictable animals. "And you know I rarely use the postal system." He preferred personal appearances but that hadn't really been....allowed.
...... "You look well."
