"Oh... Okay." He didn't want her to leave, but he didn't want to be some weirdo who was begging her to stay. He didn't want to mess things up. So if she was going to go get her face healed, it would make sense. He just wished they could talk. She'd never even accepted his apology- not with Selina's crazy interruption.
"No.. don't be sorry... I'm just a bit out of it today," he lied, trying to cover up his outburst.
Dang it! She'd caught him. Well, it was obvious what he'd said, but she didn't let it go as he'd hoped. Talk about major embarrassment, huh.
"Psh... what? I didn't say that.... I said 'mum....'" he insisted, trying to cover up yet
another of his accidental outbursts. But again, it didn't go past Violet. She was not going to let it go.
"I... I'm just bad at talking to people... I'm not exactly what you'd call cool... or smooth.. or whatever." Wait, why was he even telling her this? He was just embarrassing himself more. Yet he couldn't bring himself to not answer her truthfully...
