He went even reder when she started talking to him. Embarrassment he could feel all the way through his body. He smiled and said "Oh right cool, This is my first year, I'm really looking forward to it". He felt sorry for the girl waiting on her own for her friends but thought, if she would let him, keep her company until they arrive.

"I'm here with no-one, my mummy and daddy work away most of the time and couldn't bring me and I don't know no-one. Is it ok if i can talk to you for a while?". He started to play with his his thumb in his left hand because he was nervous.
