"Chris,hi.Yeah, sure come in." Adam told him happily, putting his hand out letting Chris know he could sit wherever he wanted to.As far as Adam could tell Christopher had dropped the book image he had, unless he was wrong. "So,I see you're not reading books anymore for fun.Or am I wrong?" They were friends now,but Adam didn't know every single miniscule detail about Chris,he had to start somewhere.
"Excellent. Sorry to barge in on you, as I see you've been trying to get some rest," he said apologetically, hoping he was causing too much of a disturbance. He just couldn't handle anymore awkward hand holding. Especially when the couple was one of his friends and his sister. It was just kind of weird, still. He plopped down on the seat across from Adam, hauling his luggage in the compartment and kicking his feet up on remaining length of the seat. Both boys could relax on this train ride, couldn't they?
When Adam asked if he wasn't reading for fun anymore, Christopher laughed outright. The only time he'd ever stop loving books was probably when he died. And in the next life, if there was such a thing, he'd probably read there too.
"No, no. I'm still quite a book lover," he grinned,
"I just had to escape from being an awkward third wheel. Sometimes even books can't hide discomfort."
