Goodbye, for now, dear friend, it seemed to say. He said it back with his smile. Soft and sad.
Turning around, a smile danced across his face. "It seems your reputation might take a downfall then, because socializing just isn't my thing," he said with a grin, kicking back against the seat. "Anyway, I won't bring down your reputation. You just might boost mine."
Yes, Selina was probably the most popular third year in school. She was smart, pretty, hilarious, outgoing, athletic. She was everything a girl could want to be. Her brother on the other hand, was the complete opposite. He was a geek. A weirdo. A loner. A nerd. Not typically the queen of the school's best friend. But there they were, closer than close. It was a strange relationship.
Selina laughed at his comment and sat down across from him and stole his book from him. She turned her back away from him so she could read the title of his book. Sure, she was just playing with him, but she was curious to see what he was holding in his hand,
"What are you reading, sir? Twelve Fail-Safe Ways to Charm Witches... wait what?" She turned and smirked at him.
Her hand threw the book back in his direction,
"Why are you reading that, brother dearest?"
