She then lay her head against the window, and closed her eyes trying to catch up on the sleep she had missed from last night.

Alyssa silently crept into the compartment when she saw Nessie sitting alone inside it. She had her eyes, so she assumed that she was taking a nap. So Alyssa sat down quietly and kept her friend company.
