Jez opened a compartment door to find Jordan there. "Hey," she said, grinning. "Mind if I sit here?" Rowena peered sulkily around the door, and glowered at Jordan. Jez shot her cat a warning look. "Ignore the cat, she's grumpy today. But since when is she ever pleasant?"
"Around pleasant company," shot back Ro. Jez rolled her eyes.

Jordan smiled warmly at Jez, "Sure come on in," he said, regarding the blue spotted cat. "I take it that this is Rowena," he asked Jez, whilst countering the cats glare with one of his own. "Nice to meet you too," he said to the cat, "I'm Jordan." finding the sitaution strange, he was talking to a cat for heavens sake!
