"I..wanted to give you this." The Ravenclaw said, handing out the box to their Herbology Professor as she smiled lightly.

Oh, she wasn't hear about the banners? Well that was perfectly fine. Seren was temporarily distracted by the said banners, and the ensuing chaos, but was soon brought back to Earth.

A gift?

"Oh thank you Beatice, but you really shouldn't have," she said smiling brightly as she accepted the pretty little box. She gave it a gentle shake to see if she could make out what it was... but alas, she had no idea.

"Shall I open it now, or save it for later?" she thought out loud.

SPOILER!!: Kurumi

"My brother actually thought of the name. Says he got it from a nonmagical comic book, rather old one at that...but he does collect these sorts of things." Seeing as he was the nerd of the family. He had a very extensive comic book collection, everything kept in plastic wrap so as not to get finger prints on them or anything. "I'll certainly try my best, professor." She looked around the staff table at all the professors present and those that were just arriving. She would like to speak with all of them, but she ought to be returning to her seat soon to allow the Headmaster to deliver his speech. "I won't take up any more of your time," for now. "I hope you enjoy the feast and have a pleasant holiday."

She then offered the Herbology professor another bow before turning her attention to the next professor.

"I certainly had enough practice rounds trying to get the spell right, but I managed alright," she laughed with a small nod. Hopefully she would be using the Transfiguration practice room for more than just baking. While she didn't really consider it to be a waste, she was sure that there were other things that ought to be practice in there instead of simply transfiguring a trunk into an oven. "I am looking forward to your lessons next term, Professor Magnus. I am glad you were able to come back." She had really missed the SANE Transfiguration lessons that were without chainsaws.

SPOILER!!: zee Lafay and zee Scabior

Merlin, it wasn't like worse things had been said to professors and not earned such a glare and angry words before. Kurumi merely stares at Professor Lafay, not at all surprised that a fellow Slytherin had jump on her and she wasn't entirely convinced that the Potions Mistress didn't not like her either when the other professors had heard her question and chosen not to comment on it. Still, her choice of words...saying that Kurumi was calling him out only made her think that her claim was true. After all, you couldn't really call someone out on something that wasn't true, could you?

Before Kurumi could say anything, which was probably a good thing, Professor Scabior had addressed her. Well, at least he didn't seem to want to have his words stab her like needles or something...and she was back to blinking in confusion now. Maybe it would have been easier if he had just said that he didn't like her, now she was all confused.

"Oh..." she said, offering him another small bow before backing up slightly. It was clear from the look on her face that she wanted to ask more, but Dragon Lady's presence took all that desire away.

"Thank you, professor," Kurumi smiled. She certainly hoped that he found them delicious as well. "Thank you for a good term. I hope you have found Hogwarts to your liking and will be back next term." And...hopefully not on the train ride to school. It sort of freaked Kurumi out when mysterious professors were on the train, not that the Astronomy or Charms professors were shifty or anything...not now at least. Speaking of which...why were the PAIR of them on the train together? Kurumi had theories...but the had kept those to herself.

Then...she heard CHAOS behind her and she spun around to see banners falling and giggling, screaming, flailing, and all manner of madness coming from the Gryffindor table. Merlin, she ought to return there to...try and sort things out.

Turning on her heels quickly, she bowed to all the professors present and then scampered back over towards the Gryffindor table. EEEEEEK!

Ahh boys and their comics, easily entertained they were... strange species, males, men. It never ceased to amaze her that people collected items like that. The only thing she thought was worth collecting were plants, but they served a purpose, so it wasn't really a collection.

Offering the Gryffindor Prefect one last smile she gave her a little bow of the head, "I will indeed, and I hope you enjoy the feast and your summer break as well dear."

SPOILER!!: Presley

Resisting the urge to start with "um" she began speaking. "I just wanted to thank all of you for teaching me, and lots of you for taking extra time out to help me when I needed it." Not that Presley often needed help. Not with her class work, but with the fifth-level work her tutor was sending, and expected her to be proficient at. Of her level of Herbology. Bentley especially knew that Presley wasn't all that great with plants, and was working hard to stay at a second year level in that class. She pulled lifted up the basket she was carrying. "I made these for everyone." She had written personalized thank-you notes to every teacher, and had taped them each to a huge bar of her favorite Belgian chocolate.

After taking a good long swig of her pumpkin juice, Seren looked back up to find Presley had approached the dais, and what a sweetheart.
"You're more than welcome dear, it is our job after all," she said with a wink. But having said that, teaching wasn't just an occupation, it was a vocation, so of course she was going to do whatever was right by the students.

Oooohh chocolate!

Indeed food was her weakness, there was no doubt about that. Especially when the food for the feast seemed to be lacking, what with house elves popping up and banners coming off the walls. Disaster.
"Thank you Presley, that's awefully sweet of you." Seren eagerly took the bar of chocolate that had her name on it. If the house elves weren't going to feed her, then the students would.

SPOILER!!: Lilly

At least everyone else had brought presents.

She had been about to see what has happening in terms of the chaos that was going on around them, but was distracted when another student approached her. This time a young Gryffindor, a very red in the face Gryffindor at that.

Seren could feel her own cheeks warm up at the girls compliment.
"Thank you Lilly, it pleases me to know I'm doing something right." After all, she wouldn't want to be doing it wrong now would she?
"I trust you've been well? Are you ooking forward to the holidays?" she asked, accepting yet another gift to add to her collection...

Ok, perhaps she was wrong, she didn't only collect plants, she also seemed to be collecting gifts. Rather curious. This wasn't a prank or a ploy was it?

Oohhh they were chocolates as well! This was brilliant.. though at this rate she would have to start watching her figure.

Scanning the Great Hall, Seren tried to keep up with what was happening, but failed. It was too noisy, and people were moving about.

Should she be doing something? Crowd control? .........
