She nodded, "Yeah, me too, a little." She would have to face her father at some point during the holidays, and she wasn't quite sure how that encounter was going to go, or even how she wanted it to go.
She remembered that the last time she'd spoken to Elliot, the girl had recieved a letter, and hurridley left, but Pres hadn't thought it a big deal. She assumed it was important news, and Elliot mentioning it was from her father only confirmed her suspicions. "Oh, don't worry about that."
Then, all of a sudden there were giggles coming from everywhere and banners falling to the ground. Presley jumped back, and resisted the urge to shriek. "What in Merlin's name?" She settled for instead. Looking around to try and locate the source of the trouble.
Elliot simply nodded in agreement to...Presley saying she was anxious as well. Obviously the second year didn't get along with her father...quite different than Elliot's situation.
Elliot was VERY glad Presley didn't ask what her father had written for. It was one thing Elliot liked about Presley...not that Elliot would EVER admit that!
"Yeah...I don't know what it was! But it looks like the other house tables are having the same problem!" she cried as she glanced around the room. She smoothed her hair down, since she hated looking unkempt. Elliot was a perfectionist, afterall.

"Anyone know what all that was about then?" he asked no one in particular as he redid his tie.
She heard a familiar voice and turned to see none other than Caelius. Smirk.
"Why, hello there, Mr. Caelius. Haven't seen you in QUITE some time, eh?" she asked him, giving him a smug look. Caelius definitely brought out the arrogance in her...and she didn't know why.
