Ronnie felt Harvey's eyes on her. She sighed and made some weird squeak noise in the back of her throat. Okay. Time to tell the truth. Hope this goes well....
"Well, before I was happy and cheerful as you said. But now..." she squinted her eyes so the tears wouldn't fall out.
"Now...." she couldn't say it. She took a deep breath.
"N...now given a certain....change of events, I'm not as happy and cheerful as I was b..before." she said, fighting back the tears. She shook her head sharply, making her orange hair flip.
"I saw you, Harvey. At the Hufflepuff table." she finally said quietly.
"I saw the way you looked at her. You know who and what I'm talking about." she said through gritted teeth, still not meeting his eyes.
