Hogwarts always had a werid way of enticing the strange and unexpected. At least nobody could ever say Hogwarts was boring, though perhaps it was a little bit of an occupational hazzard. Hopefully she wouldn't go mad any time soon, she rather enjoyed teaching.
Taking another sip of her pumpkin juice, Seren considered Dahs's question. Despite the destruction to her babiesplants. "Well, last year was better, I only hope next year won't be worse." Just so long as things didn't get worse then surely she would survive. "But all in all it was good."
Actually now that she thought about it. Dash hadn't really been a victim of the events this year. Well... except for Borr, but that was different. They were all victims of Borr's rude words. "You're quite lucky you know... you seem to have avoided all the destruction." Yeah, his office hadn't been trashed and was anything stolen? Probably not. "I take that as you are coming back next year?" Even after all her plants were destroyed...twice? It wasn't a bad thing though. Maybe he would get used to having someone to serve him tea. "I guess so. Think I may have misplaced some books." No. He didn't. Scabior didn't misplace anything. "But really, nothing really." He was just that lucky...minus his missing books, which really could just be reordered. SPOILER!!: Isabelle Quote:

As Dash made his way to his seat, and greeted them all, Isabelle gave him a beaming smile and a nod. "Good evening, Dash. You're well, I hope." She hadn't had that many conversations with him throughout term, but he seemed in a good enough mood then. "I am, thank you. Are you?" He hadn't really spoken to Isabelle that much, but maybe next year they could get to know each other more. Either way he was still happy for the end of term. "Were any of your things destroyed?" SPOILER!!: Kurumi Quote:

She attributed this to the feeling associated with all the seventh years leaving and just how empty the corridors were going to feel without them. So many strong personalities under one roof suddenly being gone...it was almost too much to think about.
Clutching the box, Kurumi walked up to the table and offered each professor a small bow and a smile. " Good evening, professors," she said with a slight hint of a whimper to her voice. While she was composed for now, she had just been in tears moments earlier saying her farewells to some very important people. " Thank you once again for another term." She then set the box down on the table and opened it for each to take one should they desire. There was no telling if the food was going to be back up to par, so at least she could be sure that they ate something that tasted good. " And, a special thank you to you, Professor Magnus, for allowing me to use the practice room this term to bake."
Kurumi looked down the rows of professors and her breath sort of caught on Professor Scabior. Yeah, she hadn't forgotten what had happened in class. Ridiculous, merely reciting from the textbook when several other students had done the exact same thing. Thankfully, the man was sandwiched between Professor Bentley and her own Head of House, so she knew at least there was a sort of protective bubble there.
" Professor Scabior," Kurumi said with another quick and stiff bow. " Why do you dislike me so much?" She would have said hate, but she always had felt that that was too strong a word. SPOILER!!: Hecate Quote:

"I doubt Professor Scabior dislikes you, if he does however, its for outbursts like these. Calling someone out in front of colleagues and friends is highly uncalled for." Kurumi had appeared at the table offering cookies like she had in the beginning of the term. Of course then Dash had assumed she was trying to get on the Professors good side. Now...he didn't know what to think. He simply nodded at the reveal of the cookies.
He wasn't going to actually eat them.
Dash would have expected that to be enough. Kurumi would leave or speak to other professors, but instead she addressed him.....with the oddest question.
He simply raised a brow at her but before he could really get any words out, Hecate had interrupted. "I-" He paused, resisting the urge to smirk at the obvious anger in Hecate's words. "It's alright Lafay." He shrugged. Really, it didn't bother him at all. "Miss Hollingberry. I am a Professor. My job here is to teach students to the best of my ability, not to pick and choose which students I like and dislike. That being said, I do not dislike you." There. Now she could go back to her table. SPOILER!!: Althea Quote:

He said with a slight nod to his fellow Professors and Kurumi. "-Have a nice summer." He added to the Prefect, before standing up and making his way over to the other end of the table. "Is there any reason to why you just limped your way over here?" Dash asked, plopping down on the empty seat close to Althea.
