~ Rise and Rise Again, Until Lambs become Lions ~ By the time Sabel drew into the Security Office behind Evander, he was already feeling out of breath. He was fairly certain it wasn't from the fast pace they had taken to; even though there weren't seven flights of stairs to run up and down in the ministry, he had become so accustomed to doing so at Hogwarts that he had made it part of his daily routine every morning. So physical stress was not something that was factoring in. Emotional and mental however, were another story.
That, and the tension that had gripped his entire body. At least he hadn't dropped his wand....yet.
Drawing just inside the door, Sabel stood to the side. If anyone tried to follow them in, he could stun them, or trip them. Anyone besides Gabe of course. After all, Evander had brought him along to watch his back, right?
His eyes chanced a glance at the Department Head, curious as to what their next move would be, straining to hear the next order. It had been some time since he had been so devotedly attentive.
