Lights turned and looked at Ethan, wondering if she should tell him her plan. He wasn't an MLE'er, after all. She decided that some things were best left unsaid, and smiled at Ethan. "It's okay, I'm just wondering how we're going to get in if the protesters are blocking the entrance." Now she thought about it, Lights realised this could be a problem too. Damn.
She noticed the wand in his hand, and gently pushed it to his side, out of sight of the Cultists and protesters. "Don't let them see that, they might get intimidated," she warned. "Then something bad could happen." They may jump to conclusions.

Ethan gave a light snarl. "Alright, I won't let them see it until it's too late. For them." He slid his wand up his sleeve, always at the ready to fall directly into his palm if he extended his arm just right. Then he looked deeply at Lights' face, even though she wasn't looking at him. He came quickly to his own conclusion: "You're keeping something from me..." he said in a rather singsong voice.
