Somehow the idea that the cake was going to do something weird made Ashley all the more interested in trying it. It wasn't even about the points, though it was nice to know that he wasn't going to lose points by eating it. He wanted to know exactly what was going to happen. He sort of wondered if it would work on him, but he couldn't think of a reason it wouldn't. That hair-changing thing probably worked, maybe. Instead of wasting time thinking about it, he decided to just go ahead and eat the cake and see what would happen, if anything.
