That perhaps seemed simple enough. Then again, casting a corporeal patronus wasn't simple so the very thought of how simple sending a message with it could have been rather decieving. Casting the muffliato spell around herself, the Slytherin leaned back against the wall, watching the large eagle fly over to Josh. No matter how many times she'd seen a patronus, it just never got old.
A little smile appeared on her face when apparently whatever the message was had been funny. Sure, she couldn't hear Josh's laugh, but she had two eyes didn't she? What in Merlin's beard was so funny? As Josh casted his patronus, the girl half expected it to be galloping over to one of the others in the room, but low and behold, it was headed straight towards her. Alright...that was a rather big patronus. Made her twitch a little.
...
Honestly, she didn't know what was funnier. The message, or Josh's voice coming from a horse.
Chuckling just a little, though her smile showing that she was much more amused than she was letting on, Evelyn glanced over to the Gryffindor boy before inevitably...taking a peak at Professor Schirmer. Wrong move! Seeing the professor made her snort. Quickly turning her gaze away, the Slytherin tried to come up with a message fast, but the only message that was stuck in her mind was the one Josh gave her. Gah, she had to think of another.
Shaking her head, she thought about the happy memory, letting it fill her up, as well as the message before raising her wand and pointing it towards:
Keefer "Expecto Patronum!"
The silvery light appeared and molded into the form of her caracal patronus who bounded around the room before heading towards the fifth year Hufflepuff.
